Well I can't believe we are already half way through this pregnancy. We have just started feeling him move around like crazy or I should say I have been feeling him move like crazy. Every time Bobby goes to feel he stops and the moment he moves his hand he starts up again. We had our 20 week ultrasound last week and everything looks good. We was measuring a little behind my due date but my doc wants to keep the date June 6 which im fine with.
Pregnant stats:
Weight gain: According to my doc 8 pounds which I think is wrong, according to my scale 5 pounds and im sticking to that. Also if I gained that much my pants wouldn't be fitting me.
Showing: Just barely, its more that chubby looking phase
Cravings: I wouldn't call them cravings more food that im into right now. Which im all about any flavor cereal, orange juice and fruit. Im guessing when i get an actual craving I will know.

My parents bought us this crib set for our little guy. We should be able to pick it up this weekend. While we were shopping for cribs it finally really set in that we are going to be parents. I knew he was coming but once you start purchasing things it really sets in and it makes me that much more excited. We have been patiently waiting for this day and its only 4.5 months away. But all the decision making is giving me anxiety. I cannot decide on a crib set. Do I spend the 200.00 and buy a cute one, somehow make one but it definitely wont be as cute. Also moms do you use bumper on your kids crib? I really just need to decide cause I don't want to pick paint that totally clashes with his bedding and I really need to decide soon!

We have been getting a start on getting his nursery done. Let me tell you, its not easy. Yeah its easy to put up the bead board and paint the ceilings white. But the paint between the two is TUFF!! I just cant decide on a color. It doesn't help when Bobby wants me decide and he is not much help cause he is color blind. So for now its staying this lovely shade until I can decide.

But we are all doing good. We are eagerly waiting for our San Diego trip next month. We cannot wait to get away and celebrate our Anniversary and walk on the beach and just enjoy each other. Its been at least 2 years since we went on actual vacation and we are excited. We are anxious for summer to get here. We have lots of babies coming this summer between friends and cousins we have about 9 this summer alone. So it should be a fun summer with all the new arrivals. Plus we need to go camping!

Also im sure everyone has made a new years resolution. Most people is to lose weight obviously wont work for me cause I would be gaining. So I decide Im going to have a new healthy recipe to try every week. So far some have been good and others a complete fail but that's all in the fun of trying new foods.

ITS A BOY

We are having a BABY BOY around June 6th 2012!!! We have been keeping this pregnancy pretty quiet. We only let parents, siblings and few close friends in on our little secret. We are both pretty excited to be getting this experience and feel truly blessed. So far everything is going great, I only got sick once and I am hoping it stays that way. Im only 17 weeks but we wanted to find out the gender for Christmas to tell our parents so we decided to go to Fetal Fotos.

Wow I have definitely neglected this blog for quite some time. Last week I actually attempted to update with pictures and I was having issues and I got frustrated and obviously gave up. So I figured while im sitting here at work on a very boring Sunday I thought I might play catch up.
Our lives so far have been busy and fun. We were able to do lots of camping, getaways, going to the cabin and just enjoying our time together this Summer. I still cant believe Summer is over and Winter is just starting. Bobby got a new job at Questar Gas as an inspector. He truly loves his job. Its very time consuming and keeps him busy but he enjoys it. At least with it being winter now he will be able to be home more with me. As for me im still in the ER working. I have my moments when I somewhat like my job to completely hating it. But im thankful I have a job so I try not to complain to much.
We also got new hard wood floors put in last month. I absolutely love them!! I wish we would have gotten it done ages ago. We still have a little bit of carpet but for the most part its all wood. Which im hoping to replace the carpet next summer but we really need to get our fence put in first.
My brother also moved out of our house this Summer. He moved in with one of his friends to help him out. I must admit it took some time adjusting to not have him there. We have lived together for almost 3 years now. We are really close and I miss having the extra person to talk to. Also its really is hard to cook dinner for only 2 people, we are not big fans of leftover's so we waste a lot, so im still trying to adjust. But now I have 2 extra rooms I get to fill up.
So life has been treating us well. We are exciting for the Christmas Holidays spending time with our families and being able to go to St. George to visit his mom and younger sisters. We are looking forward to celebrating our 5 year wedding Anniversary in March. I still cant believe how fast the years go by when your having fun. We have lots of exciting things happening next year and we cant wait! We were also thinking of going to San Diego for our Anniversary for a week just to relax, celebrate and to take a vacation.

Why now??

Im not really sure as to why I feel the need to make such a post. I have never ever let my personal life get onto our blog. But for the past few months I have wanted to make this post but never knew were to start? But at the end of the day its nothing we need to be ashamed of or even embarrassed of. So let me get to the point but Me and Bobby have been dealing with infertility for the past 3 years! Trust me its not easy and I doubt it will get any easier. With every pregnant belly I see, every friend or family member baby announcement, the baby showers, the baby section at the store. Even though im beyond happy for all them it still rips me apart. And I start thinking of the Whys? Wondering when it will happen to us or if it will ever happen to us.
We started fertility testing a little over a year ago. With every painful test, the needles, all the $$$ we have spent. I wouldn't change a thing, I think it has brought us closer together. We have learned so much. I'm just thankful we have the medical technology to learn all that we have learned and all the families this technology was able to help make. So we have decided to go ahead and start fertility treatments and hopes it gets a pregnant. The month we going to get ready for the insemination I found out I was pregnant. We beat the odds and got pregnant all on our own!!! We were so excited about our little miracle. We both could not stop smiling that we were finally going to be parents, make our parents grandparents, make our siblings aunts and uncles. Well our little miracle had other plans of it's own. I ended up having an ectopic pregnancy. Luckily we were able to catch it early and I got injections to help pass it in the hopes to avoid surgery. Surgery only would have damaged my tubes and make our infertility issue even harder. Even though our little miracle didn't make it. I'm thankful we got that experience and I know I can get pregnant and we will get pregnant again!
Through this experience I have read and follow many infertility blogs. I feel like I know these ladies and we can really relate to each other. They have all been through so much and even though our journey is just starting I feel ready for it. Through them I know what to expect, and what questions we need to ask.
Still, as im done writing our small story im still not sure as to why I did share it? I'm sure there are others out there going through something similar as we are going through. I just hope that my little story helps them not give up. Its not somthing to be embarrassed about and its actually more common now than we think. I have people in my life that have gone through the same thing that i never knew about it and they have all have children. So there is hope!! It might take us a longer to get there but we will get there!

Our summer so far!

We have had a great summer so far. We are keeping really busy and enjoying all the sunshine. We have gone to the cabin pretty much every other weekend. Its so nice to get away from the city and enjoy the outdoors. Its just amazing seeing the stars up there. Its to bad we cant see the stars like that here in the city. We have gone four-wheeling, hiking, played horse shoes, and searching for the bears. They have spotted 4 bears around my parents cabin and my dad is determined to see a bear out in the wild. We missed seeing a bear by about 15 minutes we got tired of getting eatin up by the mosquito's so we turned in and missed it by minutes.

Bobbys mom and step-dad came in town a few weeks back. We watched his sisters for a few hours while they were at a wedding reception. But i bought some shirts for breast cancer research that fire department was hosting a little bit ago. So we took the girls and wondered around the event. They had a bright pick firetruck that the girls loved. We had a good time and it was hot.

While his parents were in town we all went to Lagoon. Of course I brought my camera but i left my purse and everything in it in the truck. We couldn't remember the last time we went to Lagoon. They have alot more rides then we remembered. It was a good time and I think we will go back this summer. I want to try Lagoon a beach when we go. It looked like fun.

We also went to Lava Hot springs. It was intended to be a big birthday celebration for all the June birthdays but it never turned out that way. But we still had a great time. Me and Bobby are both officially older this year. While we were there we went to the hot pots, swimming pool, and walked there little town. We really enjoyed going there and I can't wait to go again. I wish we would have been able to float the river while we there, but it was going to fast and it definatley wasn't safe.

I'm not sure if anyone remembers but the day we were driving home was the day we got about 1.5 inches of rain in a few hours. Well once we got home I noticed on Facebook my neighbor mentioning her basement flooded. So i thought i better look, and sure enough it happened to us. Luckily it more filled up in the window well and not to much inside the house but it still sucked.
We had water about 5 inches up on the window, luckily Bobby was able to clean it out cause window wells creep me out. On side note we need to spray for spiders. There were just to many down there for me, plus I saw lots of black widows!

Me and some of my girlfriends signed up for the Dirty Girl Run. All the money goes to help find a cure for Cervical Cancer. We had a great time and got really dirty. I think we will be signing up for the dirty dash and have the boys do it with us.

Well that has been our summer so far!! We have many more memories coming up and i can't wait to share them. I hope everyone is enjoying there summer like we are.

Catching up!

It seems like I have alot of catching up to do!! I always tell myself I will try to update more often, but life always gets ahead of me and I cant ever find the time.

We will have alot of a new opportunities coming our way in the next few months. We keep crossing our fingers they work out in our favor but you can never be to sure! But other than that we are good. We are hoping summer will arrive soon. I have purchased all of my garden veggies and flowers but im to afraid to plant anything. Its either to wet, cold and it even snowed here last weekend so I hoping it gets warmer soon. We have the itch to go camping, golfing, rodeos and BBQ parties in the back yard and so much more.

A few weeks ago we did manage to go camping at Lava Hot Springs. It was fun hanging out with Gorski's, Fenn's and there families. We had awesome food and many laughs together. Even though it was wet and chilly we still had a great time. Cant wait for more trips like this this summer.

Then last week my mom was able to score some free tickets to Studio 5 first live broadcast. I have never watched the show but went along anyways. It was interesting to watch a live broadcast. I thought it was interesting that they don't read off a prompter they just go with the flow. We also got some free tickets to the Hale Center Theatre.

Introducing Mr. and Mrs Josh Petersen. Last weekend we were able to attend our good friends wedding in Elko, Nevada. It was a long day of driving but it was so worth it. I was really worried about the weather cause it was dark and rainy on our drive there, but the weather turned around into nice and sunny which made for the perfect day for them. Im glad we go the opportunity to attend and be in there wedding party. We even got to stop and gamble in high hopes that we would hit the jackpot but unfortunately we didn't win this time.

Then this is my totally random post! Have you ever heard of bountiful Baskets? I LOVE THEM! Its co-op group and you pay $15.00 a week and get all this fresh produce. I love it cause its gets me to eat healthier and to try new fruits and veggies. I highly recommend every one trying it at least once. Its in many different states for those who don't live in Utah. Beans and Cookies?

Since we have nothing anything exciting go on with us I thought i would blog about my new recipe.! I have made these cookies before and they are delicious. So lately I have been getting into cooking with beans. It makes everything so much healthier and so much better then butter. Basically you cut the butter in half and add pureed beans instead so get all the nutrition from the beans in your cookie. Plus you get to each an extra cookie! Plus the best part no one will realize you made it with beans. Neiman Marcus Oatmeal Ch. Chip Cookies 1 cup white beans pureed- I rinsed the beans an put them back in the can and filled it up with water. 1 cup butter-softened 1 package milk ch. chips 1/2 package ch. chips- I put the chips in my mini chopper till its finely chopped or you can grate it. 4 cups flour 5 cups oatmeal- I used quick oats and i put in my blender until it almost looks like flour 2 cups brown sugar 2 cups white sugar 2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 4 eggs 2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp vanilla Cream together the butter, pureed beans, and sugars till smooth. Add the eggs and beat until smooth. Add all remaining ingredients and add the chocolate at the end. Bake cookies at 350 for 8 minutes. If you use the beans don't over bake they will go dry. This recipe makes alot of cookies!!! I usually half it but since it was the first time using beans i didn't want to chance screwing it up. So i scooped the dough into balls and put in freezer bags till later. I hope you enjoy them. We are having a pot luck at work next week. So im going to make mint brownies with pureed black beans. I hope they are just as delicious!!!

Arizona

Here is the beautiful newlywed couple, our reasoning for us to go to Arizona. I am so happy we were able to be part of their wedding. They had a beautiful ceremony on Friday evening and the following day they had there reception.

Our traveling group for the week. We had a great time all together. I can see many more trips in our future.

While we were waiting for the reception we decide to go into Phoenix and have some fun. When we got into Phoenix Bobbys buddy from work was having his sons birthday party at the children's museum. So we stopped in to say Happy Birthday.

Next on our agenda was to go golfing. I think Bobby was just more excited to go golfing in warmer weather. We found a great course. It was the perfect way to end our vacation. We all had a great time.

After our lovely time in Arizona. Our vacation had to come to an end. To cut our drive in half we stopped on St. George to visit Bobby's mom and to say Happy Birthday to his little sister.

This is the awesome snow storm we were lucky enough to drive in. It took us about 6.5 hours for us to get home. But it was worth it. We had an awesome vacation and it was nice to just get away for awhile! I think we need to start planning our next trip.

VEGAS!

We recently went to a wedding in Arizona for our friend Jeremy. So we met up with Gorski family and started our journey south. Since decided to make it a road trip we wanted to stop in Las Vegas along the way and have some fun.
While we were in Las Vegas we celebrated our 4th Anniversary! I can honestly say im the luckiest lady. I couldn't imagine my life without my best friend.
The Gorski's wanted to leave Vegas a day early and get to Arizona early since Tara was in the wedding. So the way out of Vegas into Arizona you have to go over the Hoover Dam. So we tagged along and went to the Hoover. I still get amazed every time I go there, I swear it gets bigger and bigger every time I see it. We wanted to go on the tour of the dam while we were there but the next tour wasn't for another 2 hours so we decided to go on a short tour of the power plant instead. Bobby was a little bummed, so next time we are in Vegas we will have to do the longer tour. After the Hoover Dam the Gorski's went to to Arizona and me Bobby celebrated our Anniversary the rest of the day. We went to dinner, got some ice cream and did a little gambling. Lucky we came out ahead. Its a good thing we don't go to Vegas often I can see why gambling is addicting.

This is the new bridge that got completed 5 months ago. It cuts the drive in half instead of having to drove over the dam. It was amazing and a long way down. They have a walkway at the top of the bridge so you can look out over the at the dam. I wish we would have been able to go walk on the bridge but the parking lot was always full every time we went pass. So hopefully next time.

To go private or not?

I have been thinking lately of going private. Even though I don't really update our blog that often. But lately I have had alot of anonymous visitors that leave comments. I have no idea who they are and im not sure I want people we don't know looking into our lives. My blog will probably start getting a little bit more personal to me and im not sure I want cyber world to be a part of it.

Does any one else have this problem? Am I just paranoid about this?

Wow 2 post in a week im on a roll!!

We had a great Halloween. We decided to be the Flintstones this year...or should say I decided. Bobby doesn't really get in the Halloween spirit like I do. He hates to dress up but he is always a good sport about doing it. Halloween is absolutely my favorite holiday. We usually have the entire house inside and outside completely decorated but we just didnt have enough time this year. We had wonderful friends come over and had yummy food. I made my first attempt to make Eyeballs and they turned out awesome. We also had lots of chip and dips, mummy dogs, bone and witch breadsticks, and yummy chili. Which hit the spot cause we were freezing after we went trick or treating.

Not the best picture but it will work. I wish i would have taken off my jacket for the picture.

We had a great time and i totally forget to take pictures of everyone else costumes and im a little bummed i didn't. Everyone had great costumes this year! And im not sure why the pictures turned out so weird and blotchy. I probably should read the instructions at some point and understand how to work my camera.

We also got our pumpkins carved but sadly this is the only picture I took that night.

A few days ago I saw on my friends blog roll that it has been 2 months since I last updated this blog. I know im a slacker but I often wonder if anyone reads this thing! Not much has happened with us lately. We are both working about 50 hours a week so we are keeping busy. We welcomed our 1st niece Olivia into the world on Sept 7th. She is going to be on super spoiled little girl.

Lets not forget Uncle Bobby! I think he will make an awesome daddy!! Hopefully one of these days he will.

And Uncle Bobby again. Now your wondering what happened to his face. We went to my parents cabin a few days before and he got hit in the face with a piece of wood. We ended up that night in the ER and we are guessing about 60 stitches but lucky no broken jaw. I will spare you from looking at the awesome pictures i took before the stitches.

Well that's all I really have to update on. We are having an awesome Halloween Party this Saturday that should be a blast. I'm excited to see all my girlfriends and there families. I miss that we all don't live very close anymore.

A quick boring update!

WOW!! I cant believe summer is practically over and we have done nothing fun to really show for it. We both have had an EXTREMELY busy summer of WORKING!! Hopefully soon we will get our lives back and get to kick back and enjoy the last of it.
Here are a few pictures of the very few little things we have done this boring summer.

We all turned 25 within 9 days of each other. Yeah i know its horrible picture but i wanted to take a last minute picture with cake. When did we all get so old!!

Since we could never get a complete weekend off and we have been itching to go camping......why not have a dutch-oven cooking party in the back yard. It felt like camping with the dirt in between your toes, the bugs flying around, the friends that make it complete, the campfire and the smores....it almost felt like we were in the mountains except we had flushing toilets and sports on tv. We had a great time and it was alot of fun. And I think i did pretty well on my dutch ovening skills! Now if only we can really get away and go camping.....I have my fingers crossed for Labor day weekend cause i have my first 3 day weekend all summer....WAHOO!!!

AND finally with all excitement......WE FINALLY GOT GRASS!!! I can even explain how happy i was to finally get grass. I love it and my dogs love it!!!!!

Well thats basically the stuff I have pictures for but looking back we have done a few more fun things.

We went on a last minute fishing trip to Utah Lake. The weather was crappyand it was chilly but luckily we didn't get rained on. We all had a blast and cant wait to go again.

Memorial Weekend!!!

This past Memorial Weekend we were able to go the cabin. It was so nice and relaxing to get away from the city, work, all communications and the yard! We had a great time and got to spend alot of time together. Me and Bobby have been working like crazy lately and it was nice to spend some time together. I love all the memories we are making at the cabin and I cant wait for a the new ones to come.

This is a very steep hill that had about 3 ft of snow and we all got trapped down there not knowing it was a dead end and with no other way out back UP we go. So we had to push up about 8 wheelers that took almost 2 hours. Other then that we had a great time 4 wheeeling and plenty of snow ball fights.

And there is no better way to end Memorial Weekend without corn on the cob....the dogs loved it to!

Well we are getting closer to getting a yard! Yippee! We have the front yard sprinklers in and most landscaping and hopefully if the weather cooperates this weekend we wil have the backyars sprinklers ready as well. Im hoping to have everything ready byt the end of May so we can get our sod the first week of June. I cant wait to start planting flowers and my garden.....yeah i know it might be a little late to start one but we will see.

Update!

Well it has been awhile since I last updated this blog. When day I will get better at it. Well nothing to exciting has been happening with us lately. We are hoping the weather will stay nice soon so we can start working on getting our yard and fence in. It will be so nice to look out the window and not see mud puddles and I think the dogs are ready as well.
We finally got my storage room completed!!!! I am so thankful for all the time and hard work Bobby has put into it. I even used some power tools that i have never used before to help him get it done faster. I LOVE IT! Now i just need to start stocking up on some stuff so it gets full. I would love to have a complete 72 hour supply in there. So if some natural disaster ever comes here we will be somewhat prepared. We can also finally start using our Christmas present from my parents. Which I need to go to Costco and fill up as well. But its pretty bare right now but im sure I can fill up in no time. And yes its a limish green color! I picked this awesome color that i want to paint a wall in my room and so we decided to get the color in a 5 gallon bucket and paint the wall also. Well needless to say im glad we painted in the storage room first cause it is an awful color. But its a storage room and no one will see it but me so the color is staying for now. Besides its starting to grow on me!

A few months back we went to St. George for Tallulahs 5th birthday party. She was excited that we were able to come to it this year. I cant believe how big those girls are getting. Even though it was short trip we are happy we could be there. We really wish we could see them more often then we actually get to. Also its a horrible picture but I think its one of the few we have of Bobby with all of his sisters plus they are all looking at me. Every time we do get together we forget to take a picture or some one is always missing.

We also got our window well grates for all the basement windows. So now hopefully no one will be able to break in. But the only way to lift them up is inside the house so it is alot less more likely. They were pricey things but in the long run i think they were a great investment. So now I don't have to worry about the dogs falling into the windows or when we have kids falling as well.

Well theres my short and sweet update on us.

RIP grandpa!

Well this past weekend my grandfather passed away. We were all aware his time was coming soon, so we were all a little prepared and we all were able to our goodbyes! Even though we were able to say goodbyes it was still really hard for us to watch the nurses take him off his oxygen. We were all so lucky to have such a great grandpa. We will have many good memories of him, that we will never forget. This my first grandparent that I have lost and im hoping not to have any more in the near future.

These pictures were taken last Christmas. Im so glad we took them, at this Christmas we knew he wouldn't be here for the next one so we tried to take some family photos. That's the reasoning of the horrible pictures and red eyes puffy eyes.

We love you grandpa and we will miss you terribly!!!!

DARN BURGLERS!!

Well if you want a good way to ruin your Saturday night, this was definitely it!!! We were at our friends birthday party enjoying ourselves when I get the phone call someone just broke into our house. Long story short this is what we found when we got home. Im just glad someone was home and the dogs starting barking so who ever it was got scared and ran and didn't actually get inside our home. Lucky my parents had some sheet wood at there house since it was late and no one would be open. But still it makes me mad that someone was ballsy enough to try when all the lights were on and TV's it was obvious someone was home.
I cant till this summer when we can actually get our yard done and put up a fence so my backyard will be a little more private instead of sharing it with all my neighbors. On a brighter note we are getting an alarm system installed soon. Thanks to my parents generosity so hopefully we will be a little safer!!! Well at least with the new police bill we have to starting paying every month for police services came in handy, at least i got some use of my money!

Well I have been wanting to post this for sometime now but never found the time! Well many of you know my mom always find the BEST deals!!! So a few weeks back i went to the grocery for a few items and I got some killer deals with her. I have always been so embarrassed to use coupons when i go to the grocery store, I hated holding up the line so the checker can scan them all. Its so embarrassing!!! Well I got over the fear when I realized almost every one uses coupons these days to save money!

Well after many coupons and an $8.00 rebate for the Pepsi, I got all this stuff for about $24.00, WHAT A DEAL!! I was really excited and i think i should go shopping with my mom more often!!

Merry Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year. Although im a slacker in taking pictures so i only have a few. We got lots of new and exciting things this year. Just to name a few things we got new clothes/shoes, xbox and wii games, lots of gift cards, a memory foam mattress pad, and some things we needed for the house. My parents this year also gave us a new freezer that im excited to start using once my storage room gets finished. We also a got an elliptical machine from them which would be nice. Along with everyone a new years resolution is to lose weight.

and please dont make fun of our tree. We had a really pretty 8' foot tree we got the day ater Thanksgiving and it was dead 3 weeks later and i got tired of looking at and pick up all the bulbs and lights that kept falling off so we took it down and put up our tiny fake one.

Here we are with my dad's parents. My grandpa's health has really declined in the last few months so we took pictures just in case this was his last one. It was an emotional Christmas. Bobby is the camera man but i wish he was in the picture with us.

We went to Bobbys mom's house in St.George the weekend before Christmas. We had a blast and we wish we could have made it a longer trip. Also im the coolest sister-in-law cause we bought them the Zhu Zhu pets.

And here is my little Xbox nerd of a husband. We wanted those xbox live wireless head phones so bad and he happened to be wearing that shirt at the same time. So i had to take a picture. Also those $100 headphones sucked and we already returned them.

WELL WINTER HAS ARRIVED!! WE WOKE UP THIS MORNING TO AT LWAST A FOOT OF SNOW AND ITS STILL SNOWING. EVEN THOUGH I HATE THE SNOW IT WAS NICE TO ACTUALLY GET SOME AND START FEELING LIKE CHRISTMAS. THE DOGS HAD A BLAST IN THE SNOW ALTHOUGH I ONLY LET PEANUT OUT FOR A FEW MINUTES SHE HAD A BLAST. IT WAS FUNNY CAUSE YOU COULDNT SEE HER IN THE SNOW UNTIL SHE JUMPED OUT. Well since its Halloween we always carve pumpkins! This year i didn't really get in the Halloween spirit with all the moving...i lost ambition to unpack the Halloween stuff so we needed to carve the pumpkins to make our porch look somewhat scary. We didn't get many trick or treaters, i'm guessing maybe 30 tops. Which sucks cause i was expecting alot, which means we have lots of candy left over. Our street is really dark and we maybe have 5 families living on our street and the rest are lots or in the process of being built. So lets hope next year will be better.

Well after a long delay we were finally able to close on our house and get the keys. We are still trying to get settled in. So i thought i would take a break from unpacking and post some pictures!

I also would like to vent for a minute! My halloween decorations got stolen off my front porch last night and im not to happy about it. I have tons of Halloween decorations and we just put the one out for now but now im a little worried about putting any other decorations out. Oh well i guess thats my welcoming into the neighborhood.

Sorry it had taken me so long to update, but it seems like there is never enough time in the day to get things done. Anyways a little update on us we FINALLY found a house and we will be closing on Sept 25, im just hoping everything will done and ready for us. Other wise i hope my parents are ready for us to move in!!!! Its is such a relief when you finally are able to find one you like. We were not planning on buying brand new but for the cost its almost just as cheap then buying a used one. And who ever said house hunting is fun is a liar, it was a nightmare!! We are excited to finally get a place to call ours but then you have to think of all the packing and unpacking that is involved, but at least we wont be moving for a every long time. Well i got lots of things to do but once we get settled i will post some new picture of our home!

The buffalo!! We saw a herd our first day there. There were probably about 100+ buffalo. We drove back through were we saw them earlier in the day and they were gone and we didn't see any buffalo for the rest of our time there. We were lucky to have seen this big of a herd.

We had a great trip and we are excited to go back again. I was a little disappointed we didnt see any bears but hopefully next time we will.

Bear World!!!

Last weekend we went to Yellowstone and on the long drive there we stopped in Rexburg, ID and went to Bear World. I have never been to Bear World or Yellowstone so i was really excited. I wasn't sure what to expect but i was amazed at the animals they have there. The bears don't seem scared of humans they were just walking around not even paying attention to us. We were lucky enough to be able to feed them which was a blast cause they would all come up to the truck and we tossed them some grub. They had tons of bears, goats, chickens, deer, a moose, buffalos, elk and bunch of other animals. It was a lot of fun and I suggest everyone should go if they are in the area.

Tallulah was so excited to pet a deer, it was she could talk about on the drive. So big brother Bobby took his sisters over to pet and feed the deer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Well it was Bobbys birthday last Sunday. Since we were at my parents cabin we didnt do anything to excitng but we still had a great time. Bobby didnt want a birthday cake just a plate of my oreo cookies so i frantically made him a plate when we got home that night. Since we didnt feel like going out dinner, cause we were tired, we went and bought some crab from the gorcery and made it for dinner. It was a sweet and simple birthday.

A few weekends back Bobby was in town for the weekend so we decided to go up to my parents cabin for the weekend. Which was also Bobbys birthday! We had a great time. The first night we went into town and tried out the pizza place, which was pretty decent food. Then we hung out at the cabin went four wheeling, a tiny hike, and plant some trees. It was a nice relaxing weekend!

Its official i'm getting old!!!!

I had great birthday this year. I didn't have any expectations so i was not disappointed and it was a great birthday. I wanted to keep it simple and just be with family. My husband bought me a new camera which was a surprise but i have been hinting on a new one for awhile. I got lots of great gifts from my family as well. We had a great dinner at Chilis and then we went to Pleasant Grove for a rodeo. We thought we were going to get rained on cause it down poured all day so i was planning on being miserable but the sky turned blue and the sun was shining so it turned out great.

Drag Queen bingo

Well a few weeks ago we went and played bingo. Its a charity event that some drag queens put on every 3rd Friday of every month. They randomly pick a charity to raise money for. At first i was not to sure what to expect but it was a blast. The "ladies" actually keep you quite entertain with their rules. Some of the rules are no hands on the table and cell phones must be turned off. The fun part is when you get caught, your entire table must put on wigs and carry purses around all the tables collecting more money for the charity. Also if you win a bingo then you get to pick a gift bag, but in order to get one you must out your hands down their "cleavage" to pick a number to see what gift bag you have one. It was a lot of fun and I think we are going to try to make this a monthly thing!!

Memorial Weekend

This Memorial weekend we were all able to go up to the cabin. It was just a short trip for us but it was nice to get away from the city and relax. Bobby was lucky enough to be able to come home from Wyoming for a few days so i was glad to see him and hang out. Notice how cleaned shaved he is, i made him shave. I have never seen his hair so long. He kept telling me is going to bring the mullet back one day.
The weather wasn't the best while we there so we played some card games and just hung around talking. The following day we had some sunshine so my dad put the boys to work, they have wanted to cut down a few pine trees that are really close to the cabin so thats what they did while me and mom relaxed. It was also my dad's birthday on sunday so i made to chicken kabobs and corn on the cob, they were delicious. We forgot about the smores so i hope next time we remember.

Geez...it has been awhile since I have posted anything. This mothers day we invited my parents over for mothers day dinner. I attempt my second turkey ever and it took a lot long to cook then the directions but it was still delicious (or thats what they told me anyways, I think i will leave the turkey making to the parents, cause i couldn't eat it after we cleaned it.....gag) Afterwards we made my parents play the Wii. Since they have never played before we started with the mario cart, carnival games and then went into the sports games. I believe we only had one injury during tennis. It was a lot of fun and I think we will have to bring the Wii to the cabin cause we had a blast.

Just be prepared picture overload. Back in September my parents purchased a cabin but we haven't been able to move anything in cause we have been waiting for the snow to melt. So last weekend we thought it would be good weather and we headed up!!

So we went out of town this weekend to my parents cabin (pictures to come) we were having a great time. Then about 10:30 at night we get the call. Someone stole all of our license plates of 2 of our cars. I thought who in the HELL would still license plates but then my parents said people steal them for the registration stickers. So why not just still the sticker?
Just to let you i just registered both of our cars and put the stickers on Wednesday night they were stolen on friday night. Its just my luck. So not only are they stupid enough to still the stickers but if they get pulled over they have stolen plates. Idiot! So we called the police and made a police report so at least if they commit a crime and some gets the plate number we will be safe.
But i think the part that upsets me the most is i don't really feel safe anymore. I know they were just license plates but just knowing someone was that close to our front door without us knowing. Plus Bobby backs his truck in and its so close to the house we can barely fit in between and someone walked all the way around and was hiding in the corner.
Its just sad people have to steal.

We had a great Easter this year with family. Im not sure how everyone else's family does Easter but you have to go to the parents house, all the grandparents house and EAT TONS of food. We had blast hanging out with family and hopefully next year we will have a little one to do Easter with.

Viva Las Vegas!!

About a week or two ago we went to Las Vegas for the National Bowling League. We had a great time, I can really remember a time when we went on a vacation with just the two of us since our honeymoon. So it was nice just be with each other for 5 days. Beware probably a picture overload.

Another visit to the ER

So on Friday night we had planned to go to Texas Roadhouse then watch my cousin Jessie perform in the ballet Sleeping Beauty. Dinner went great but afterwards Bobby decided he wasn't feeling good and went home instead. (he is still kind of weak) So when i get home he is having a hard time catching his breath, after many times arguing with him to let me take him to the doctor he finally agreed to go to the Instacare.
We get to the Instacare we check in, they did another EKG which was normal (yeah) we talked with the doctor and he is really concerned at this time. Since everything they can do at an Instacare was normal and he sill cant breath he is thinking maybe Bobby got a blood clot in his lungs. This might of happened when they shocked him, and he could have developed one afterwards. He advised us to go back to the ER. So we leave and head back up to the hospital.
We arrived about 10:30 we check back in, do another EKG which was still normal, do a chest xray, and more iv's and blood work. We talked with the doctor and he wants to do a blood test that tells you if you have a blood clot with out having to do a CT chest and to avoid radiation. The only thing that sucks the test takes about 1 1/2 hours to get the results. So we laid back watched Discovery Channel and we finally got the results that they were normal. We were so relieved an we just wanted to go home. We finally got to leave the ER about 2:00am.
Bobby has been feeling alot better today. He is finally starting to get some of his energy and personality back.
The only thing I need to fix now, is his excuse not to help me cause he thinks he has a heart condition and that he is broken. I will give him a break for the next week or so.

Well on Tuesday evening we were leaving my grandparents house after my grandpa's birthday party. We needed to go to target and grab a few things and then Bobby mentioned he was not feeling very well, i said we will be quick. We both kind of let it go. We finished are shopping and he was still complaining. Then we realized i left my purse and my grandparents, so we got on the freeway to go back and get it cause i would need it for work the next morning. On our drive there, Bobby said his left arm went numb and he cant feel is legs and feels like passing out. Bobby told me to take him to the hospital, and if you know Bobby he refuses to go to any kind of doctor. So I freaked and knew something was wrong. So i made him pull over on the freeway at about 915 at night. I drove up to Alta view ER and they checked him in. They basically said he is A-fib which means the top part of his heart is not beating with the other part of his heart. It is actually common but not in a 23 year old. Mostly people the age 50 or higher. So we sat in the ED till about 12:30 in the morning (I called in sick) monitoring his heart and waiting on lab results. They sent us home and told us to follow up with a cardiologist first thing in the morning.
So today we arrived at IMC at 10:00 checked in and waited around for the doctor to come in. They were going to perform an Echo, which is an ultrasound of the heart to make sure there were no obstructions, abnormalities, and blot clots. Then after if it came back normal they were going to perform a cardioversion, which is they are going to shock his heat to put back into rhythm. When I heard they were going to shock my husband I was kind of scared. Its not something you want to hear.
So they got him all prep and asked me to leave the room while they performed the Echo. They did put him to sleep for this procedure. It came back negative so they did end up shocking his heart to get into rhythm. He doesn't remember a thing which im glad cause i don't think i would want to remember that part. We finally got to leave around 1:30. It is always fun to watch someone come out of anesthetic, pure comedy.
So as of right know every thing is okay with his heart. He is complaing that is chest hurts but they said its normal after being shocked. He has to be on blood thinners for the next month cause his chances of a stroke are high right now and he needs to wear a heart monitor for the next 2 weeks then we follow up with a cardiologist. We are glad every thing went okay and hope everything stays normal.

Well it has been awhile since I have posted anything. Well, the truth is our lives have been boring for the past month.

Anyways, Peanut has had some serious bad breath. So I got some doggie toothpaste and decided im going to give it a try and if it doesn't work then we will take her in to get them professionally done. The bad part is me trying to remember to do it. Well i tried it last night and she did really well. So i decided to take pictures of her doing it herself.

Bring on the sunshine!! WE are enjoying this nice weather. We can't wait until spring and summer finally arrive!!!! Well since it was such a nice day we thought we would go on a family walk. So we drove to the big gully in Sandy and walked the trails.

Although this walk got us more excited for summer cause it seems like we are in the mountains camping. It was somewhat peaceful the sun was about to set, and it was very quiet. We had a blast its nice to just get away and clear your heads from everything and enjoy the nature. I'm glad we found this place and we will be going back, but I will never go alone cause there lots of homeless camps along the way. By Bobby's grizzly face you would have thought we were camping..lol!

So once again Bobby went to another bowling tournamnet. He wasn't going to bowl but just went to support his dad just in case he went into the finals. Well the owner of the bowling alley sponsored Bobby so he bowled anyways, so it didnt cost us anything but the gas to get there. Well it turns out Bobby took 1st place again. We got some nice cash on this tournament.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Bobby won his very first ABT tournament. For those who don't know its Amateur Bowling Tour. He has been bowling for many many years and is getting really good at it. I just wish I could have been there to watch him bowl on Sunday but I had to work. He didn't have anyone there to cheer him on, and all is competitors had a cheering squad, so next time I will try to be there to cheer him on.

So what did we win? He is more excited to get a shirt that says 2009 Champion, a bowling ball which I thought was weird because it is cherry scented, who needs a scented a ball, and then we we got 1,000 dollars so we can't complain.

We will be headed to Las Vegas the end of March to bowl in the Nationals. Which are very excited for. We could win 57,000 which would be nice. But until then we will keep dreaming on winning. But even if Bobby doesn't win it will be a great experience for us.

This weekend we went ice fishing! Which means we froze are butts off. We had alot of fun and im the only who caught any fish!! This is the first fish of the day. We will be going again soon cause Bobby was unable to make this trip. Also because my mom is really competitive and she was upset that I got first and last fish of the day.

Well I first want to say we are so lucky!! To start of the New year we already have 2 broken down vehicles. First we took Bobby's truck in for an oil change when they told us we needed to replace a part on the drivers side tire (I don't know the name but it holds the tire on) so 350.00 dollars later we got fixed. But not until after Bobby wrecked my car! So it was typical Tuesday bowling league night so Bobby took my car since we couldn't drive his. Well I got a call from him later that evening telling me I need to come pick up cause he just wrecked my car.
So when he was leaving the bowling alley he hit a patch of black ice and my car went sliding right into the curb. Not a lot of damage on the outside but more damage to the tire and every thing inside the tire. So after we called a tow truck and getting a hold of the repair shop it turns out he broke my axle to the car and I needed a new fender. But here is way we are so lucky! Since it is a holiday weekend we cant get the insurance company out for their appraisal till Tuesday. So a week later hopefully they will start working on my car and it doesnt take to long to get fixed. But it also sucks cause the insurance company wont pay for my rental car until they do there inspection so im car less for the next week and have to rely on everyone else to shuttle me around. The good part is I have 5 days off work so that's a plus. I also will be getting my door fixed from when my brother backed up in to me!!
I'm just thankful that Bobby was not hurt and he didn't hurt anyone else.

We are very excited about the New Year!! We have many things planned out and are excited to be able to do them!!

We are going to celebrate our 2nd anniversary in March!

We are planning on going to Brianas college graduation in June!! And are excited about going to Disneyland.(and i dont know why your picture is so big)

We want to go to Mt. Rushmore sometime during the summer!!

We also are in the middle planning a trip NYC! So we have a busy year ahead of us and I only hope it gets busier! We are hoping to buy our new home, a baby(hopefully) and lots of other side trips and new journeys along the way.

Christmas!!

This was our second Christmas together that we have been married for. I wish I didnt have to work on Christmas so I could keep our new family traditions going but hopefully next year we willl be able too. On Christmas Eve we went to my parents for dinner and then to Bobby's uncles for there annual family Christmas party! Afterwards we went home and I decided we needed to open each others gift on Christmas Eve since I didnt know when we will have time on Christmas.

So on Christmas morning I woke up at the crack of dawn and went to work and Bobby slept in. He went to his dads for Christmas lunch and hung out with his family then we all met up at my parents house for Christmas.

The best give my parents gave us were doggie stairs for our bed!!!! I know its ridiculous but we needed them. Our log bed is really high and there is no physical way Peanut would be able to jump on it. But basically im tired of getting off the bed to pick her up!! She is still getting use to them but so far they work!!

So a few weeks back we went to St. George to visit Bobby's mom. Of course we left Salt Lake on the first day of the big snow storms! It took us about 1 1/2 hours to get from 10600 south to the outside of Provo then it was smooth sailing the rest of the way there. That was also the storm that hit St. George and they got a few inches and you can tell not many people see snow down there and when they get they get excited. Every house on there street had at least one snowman in thier yards.

It was also Bobby's little sister Autumns 1st birthday so we were happy we were able to spend the day with her!

Peanut loves to play in the snow!! But since she is so small, usually the snow covers her! I tried to get a picture of her looking at me but no luck! Its funny though cause since she so small all the snow sticks to her fur like icicles. Her little 4 pound body just shivers until I give her bath to get the icicles off. Its always a good laugh to watch her chase Mi'shka around the back yard though.

Yes, I am one of those crazy people that get up at the crack of dawn to go shopping!! I look forward to this day every year. Not only to shop but to people watch...which is very entertaining! This year me and brother went and hit up all the good deals! We woke up at 3:15 to be at JcPenney by 4:00! We walked the mall, then we went to Shopko, Home Depot, Target, Joanns, Bed Bath and Beyond, Walmart, Army Surplus store, Office Max, Roberts, Old Navy and I cant remember the rest. And somewhere in the middle of the day, we met up with my mom and aunt had a quick bite to eat.
Once we got home and rested for an hour and showed off all my good deals. We were back out on the road and back to shopping!! I think we had a very successful shopping experience this year. Although I mostly just bought stuff for me and Bobby...but that's alright sometimes you need to spoil yourselves!

Well I have found sometime to not only update our blog but to also express how thankful we are this year! Excpecially this year with economy as terrible as it is. I dont think we realize how many things we are truly blessed with.
First of all im so blessed to have Bobby in my life! He is my other half and my life would not be complete without him. I dont think I tell him enough how thankful I am for all the things he does for us. My parents, they have always shown me how much they love us and would do anything they can to help us out in way. My brother, I love that we live together and I get to see and talk with him every day! We have always had a close relationship but this year we have really gotten the chance to know each other. My friends, even though most of them have moved away from SLC and we are not as close as we once were, but I love them and my life would not be the same with out them. My in-laws, Even though we dont see each other very often, we are blessed for all the things they do for us.
Im very thankful for the gospel. Even though im not as active in the church as I use to be. I still look to my heavenly father for guidance.
Here a just few things we are thankful for and I hope every one has a fun and safe Thanksgiving!!

Im also thankful for prilsec because without I would not be able to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner...hehe!

Okay...this blog is going to be a mental note to myself and any other home owner! Yeah your house might be everything you want and more but have you paid any attention to the trees in that yard!! We have a tree that doubles the size of your house! It is great in the summer time cause our entire back yard is full of shade but then Fall comes and this is what we get!

Here we are raking leaves! What a nice day to spend 2 Saturdays! When after we were done bagging all the leaves I just had to count how many bags we filled!! We ended up with 29 bags of leaves!! Some extra large bags and some normal yard bags! The truth is I could probably go in the back yard one more time and fill about 3 more bags but now they are wet and we still have snow!!

So this is going to be a disgusting post! For the past two weeks I have
been seeing this insect to my right in my kitchen!!! I just thought oh its no big deal its just a little bug. As I continued to seeing this insect I noticed how it was always in the same spot every morning at 4:45 and when I went to turn the light on it would run and hide. I thought that seemed wierd. So as I continued seeing it through the weeks I kept seeing it and that he found a friend. As I was telling my dad about he said Britt it sounds like you have cockroaches!! I didnt believe him and Bobby and my brother didnt believe me either. But I was determined to catch this bug and show every one that I was not dillusional!! So we bought traps and a can of raid and covered my kitchen.
So yesterday morning at about 2:00 I heard my brother get up to let his dog. Then a few seconds later I heard an aersol can go off. I jumped out of bed and ran into the kitchen. He said I got it!! So after he believed me, we sprayed the crap out of the kitchen and expecsially behind the dishwasher cause thats where they always came running out from. So as we were sitting there looking at we had found, about 4 more came running out. In different sizes which meant they reproduced and I was terrified!!! So while I was at work I called around for some terminators! Which is not cheap at all!! So I arranged for a terminator to come and luckily my brother and Bobby stayed home and empty the kitchen, so I would be able to get some sleep and having to worry about waking up to one im my bed!
So when I got off work I got to come home to a disgusting smelled house, the kitchen torn apart, my bathroom torn apart, and basically every room in my house torn a part.

Although it did make me feel better when the terminator was there he didnt believe we had cockroaches because he said our house was to clean. So here I am thinking you can only get them in dirty environments but I guess the cleaness houses can get them as well. But sense I am a clean freak I have been trying to figure out where we got them from. My first thought is from when we were in Hawaii somehow one got into our luggage, apparently Hawaii is known for having them. Second thought was from our dog food, it is really common to find them in bags of dog food. I thought it was funny then the terminator asked if we shopped at Costco or Sams club cause sometimes they will lay there eggs in the boxes you put your food in to take home and then they hatch in your home. So I have no idea how we got them but after 2 more treatments I hope they are gone!!!!!

We have been thinking alot lately that its time so good bye to Squirt! Bobby gave Squirt to me as birthday gift about 2 1/2 years ago. When we got Squirt he was almost a size of a half dollar and when we turned him in he was about 8 inches.(I tried to find pictures but they must be in a box somewhere) Squirt was a boring pet but he was still fun to watch grow.
Squirt kept growing and growing and I really didn't want to go buy a 50 gallon tank for him. It was hard enough to keep the other one clean. I tried several times to give him away but no takers. But I really needed to decide what I wanted to do before we left for Hawaii. It was a very hard decision for me to make. So after several months of going back and forth we decided it was time. So I brought him back to pet store where Bobby bought him for me!
It might sound crazy but I still miss Squirt and I hope he found a new home.

MY 6 QUIRKS!

FIRST OF ALL I DOUBT I CAN COME UP WITH SIX QUIRKS! I HAVE THOUGHT AND THOUGHT ABOUT IT BUT ALL MY QUIRKS SEEM NORMAL TO ME!

1. I'M TERRIFIED OF ANTS!! I KNOW ITS SILLY AND THEY ARE SO SMALL BUT THEY SCARE THE %*@% OUT OF ME. I CARRY A CAN OF RAID EVERY WHERE WE GO ITS THAT BAD...THE DAM THINGS NEVER DIE AND THEY APPEAR OUT OF NO WHERE. THERE IS A VERY LONG STORY BEHIND IT BUT I WONT GET INTO THE DETAILS!.
2. I HATE RED MEAT AND MEAT FOR THAT MATTER! JUST KNOWING THAT LITTLE BETSY WAS KILLED IS SAD. EVEN THOUGH I MARRIED A HUNTER AND I GO HUNTING WITH HIM, I CANT WATCH THE ANIMAL DIE ITS SAD. NOT ONLY THE BLOOD DRAINING ONTO MY PLATE AN SEEING THE VESSELS WHEN I CUT INTO THE MEAT GROSSES ME OUT.
3. I WILL NOT GO TO BED IF MY KITCHEN IS MESSY! THE COUNTER HAS TO BE WIPED OFF, DISHES IN THE DISHWASHER, AND THE TRASH TAKEN OUT. I CANT SLEEP KNOWING IF THERE IS A MESS FOR ME WHEN I WAKE UP. USUALLY THERE STILL IS AFTER BOBBY WAKES UP FOR HIS MIDNIGHT SNACKS.
I ALSO HAVE TO VACUUM THE FLOOR EVERY NIGHT AS WELL!! I THINK I'M A LITTLE OCD.
4. I'M WITH DEZI ON THIS ONE! I CRY OVER EVERY LITTLE THING! ESPECIALLY MOVIES, TV SHOWS AND EVEN SONGS. I'M NO WHERE NEAR AS BAD AS DEZ BUT ITS STILL BAD. BOBBY WILL ALWAYS LAUGH AT ME EVERY TIME AND CALLS ME A BIG BOOB!
5. I ALSO THINK WHEN IT COMES TO THE HOLIDAYS I GET OBSESSED WITH DECORATIONS. I CANT HELP IT. ESPECIALLY THIS YEAR I ALREADY NEED TO BUY 3 MORE TOTES TO STORE ALL MY CRAP IN THAT I BOUGHT THIS YEAR AND ITS ONLY HALLOWEEN. I STILL HAVE THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS TO STOCK UP FOR!
5. I HAVE NO IDEA SO I'M LEAVING IT OPEN FOR MY GIRLS TO FILL IT IN FOR ME!! IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE WHAT THEY THINK MY LAST QUIRK CAN BE???

Well are reason for going to Hawaii was to see our friends Stratton and Stacey get married!! There wedding was unbelievable and gorgeous! We had a great trip to Hawaii we only wish we could have stayed a little longer! We had a little rough start on our way there, apparently everyone over packed and we weighed a little to much! So we had about and hour and half sitting on the plane until we could take off!! Hawaii is a very beautiful place and everyone should at least go to Oahu once in there life! We did many fun things while we were there. The boys went golfing and deep sea fishing! I would have loved to go but there was no room on the boat. Then the rest of the time we went shopping, swam in the ocean, went to a luau, took long walks on the beach and just relaxed.

We stayed in a very nice hotel but definitely not worth the money we paided to stay there. We stayed in the hotel where the movie Blue Crush was filmed at! I do wish we had better weather while we were there. It was pretty much over cast most of the day with a down pour to follow afterwards. We usually had a few hours of sunshine but not enough!!

These are the pictures from the balcany of our room! Our hotel was surrounded by these ponds! They were very beautiful. Each pond had a different kind of shark swimming in them! The first one had about 5 sting ray sharks, every morning it was fun to watch them hand feed them. And the other pond had hammer head and some other kind of sharks!

SO IT WILL COST AROUND $2100.00 WE WERE TOTALLY OFF!! BUT ITS ALRIGHT IT WILL GET FIXED AND NOW THE JOKE IS ON HIM, I CAN SAY HE HIT THE PARKED CAR NOW!

THE DAVIS ANNUAL CAMPOUT!

ON EVERY LABOR DAY WEEKEND THE ENTIRE DAVIS FAMILY GOES UP TO BEAR LAKE! WE HAVE ENJOY IT EVERY YEAR...EXCEPT FOR THE FAMILY DRAMA THAT ALWAYS SEEMS TO HAPPEN! WE ATE LIKE IT WAS THANKSGIVING EVERYDAY! HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU KNOW THAT NEED TO BRING UP A FREEZER FILLED WITH MEAT TO GO CAMING!! WELL THE DAVIS FAMILY DOES!!

WE HUNG OUT ON THE BEACH ALL WEEKEND PLAYING HORSESHOES, WASHERS, AND SOME OTHER GAMES. WE BROUGHT THE BOATS UP AS USUAL BUT WE NEVER WENT OUT ON THEM. IM NOT SURE WHY WE DIDNT!

WE PLANNED TO GO GOLFING ON SUNDAY BUT LUCKY US THAT IS THE DAY THE STORM HIT AND IT HIT US HARD!! SO ME AND BOBBY DECIDE WE WANTED TO GO OVER TO THE IDAHO SIDE TO GET WHAT WE CALL SCRATCH N SNIFF'S (LOTTERY CARDS)!

WELL THAT WAS PRETTY MUCH OUR HOLIDAY WEEKEND! I ALSO DECIDED THAT IM NO WHERE NEAR READY FOR WINTER TO COME. WHEN WE WERE PACKING UP THE TRAILOR AND EVERYTHING ELSE THE TEMP OUTSIDE WAS ABOUT 30 DEGREES!! BURRRRRR!

IM A HUNTER

So during the week Bobby asked if I want to go hunting! I was actually quite shocked...usually wives are not allowed and thats fine with me. There is nothing amusing about watching a deer die!! I have gone hunting before but usually we just go camping to scope out the hot spots before all the guys head up! So I was excited to go camping overnight and just get away from the city. So needless to say when we got there it was me and about 5 adult men! It was a little awkward using some mans 5th wheel to go pee cause I wont "pop a sqat" in the woods!
So once it started to get dark we all got dressed up in our camo and hopped on the wheelers and off we went. It was fun but its hard for me to hold still and not talk! There were lots of deer on the hill but we needed to wait for them to come down a little closer to us. But suddenly a group of 4 wheelers came around the corner and the deer took off! Thank you!! The guys were pissed but I was happy!! So that night we didnt get any deer.....yea! The next day we got nothing either but Bobby took me home and headed back up for so more fun! So once I talk to him I will find out if he got one last night and post some pics!!

I did bring my camera up there and wanted to take picture of me and Bobby in our camo clothes but since it was my first time with group of guys I didnt want to seem to girlie!! So there are no pictures!!

And Bree sorry I will try to post more often!!! We got a busy month coming up with St. George, Bear Lake, Hawaii and who knows what else. Also I will post some pictures of nutters for you she misses you and addie matter of fact she was playing with that lady bug addie left her!!

JUST A LITTLE UPDATE!!

Sorry I have failed to keep everyone updated on our lives. Im having laptop troubles?? Anyways I will be posting some pictures of our fun weekend later on!

So yesterday my hubby played a dirty little trick on me saying we were going to go hit some balls at the golf course. Only after I have begged him for weeks!! Needless to say he signed us up to play a round of 9 holes with some of our friends! I was terrifed, I have only hit balls at the driving range!! I was no where ready for the course. Also since I havent hit a ball in over two months, I was trying to remember if I could even remember the concept!! Thinking in my head I would not enjoy myself, I actually had a great time!! I lost one ball to the little creek, one ball into the bunker which I hit out okay but then it landed in the water with its other ball friends. I kept telling Bobby my direction and my force of hitting the ball were just a little off but at least I can hit the ball!!! I even recall hitting a ball a little farther then he did...so I had to rub that in!! Altogether I actually had a great time and cant wait tell the next time we go the course.

DEMO DERBY

On Saturday we had tickets for a demolition derby up in heber!! So we all piled in the car and started heading up the Provo Canyon. Up the canyon we got to watch the mountain burn and people tube down the Provo river (I really want to do it). The canyon is actually a scenic drive!!
Once we got to Heber it seemed like storm was coming in our direction!! Which is funny cause before we left home we all changed into shorts and flip flops! But for those who never been to derby there is a lot of dirt and with the wind it makes it a miserable couple of hours! So once we found our seats the wind started to stop so we thought we were going to get lucky with no wind and rain.....yeah we were not that lucky!! Half why through it was a complete down pour. Which also made it a little more fun and miserable at the same time!!
I dont know what makes a derby so much fun, the cars smashing into each other, the smell of burning rubber, the cars catching on fire, or even dirt flying right in your face (this really did happen). All in all we had a lot of fun and cant wait for the next one!

Also the pictures are horrible cause of the rain!!!

IM SORRY BUT THIS BOOK WAS PURE CRAP UP UNTIL CHAPTER 18 THEN YOU FINELY GOT SOME ACTION HAPPENING!! I WILL ADMIT, I STARTED TO READ THE SECOND BOOK CAUSE I HEARD IT WAS BETTER THEN THE FIRST ONE. SO WE WILL SEE IF I CAN SIT DOWN AND READ!!!

THEN THE FOLLOWING DAY WE WERE OFF TO WENDOVER WITH SOME OF OUR OTHER FRIENDS TRYING TO WIN OUR MILLIONS....UNFORTUNATELY WE DIDNT, BUT AT LEAST WE BROKE EVEN!

SO THIS PAST WEEKEND ME AND BOBBY HEAD SOUTH FOR A LITTLE FUN!! WE FIRST WENT TO ST. GEORGE AND STAYED WITH HIS MOM AND STEP DAD. THEN THE NEXT DAY WE ALL WERE ALL ON OUR WAY TO ZIONS NATIONAL PARK. WE HAD A BLAST PLAYING WITH BOBBY'S LITTLE SISTER'S. WE WENT FISHING, CANOEING, PLAYING PRINCESSES AND JUST ENJOYING EACH OTHERS COMPANY. HERE ARE JUST A FEW PICTURES OF THE TRIP AND OF COURSE I FORGOT ABOUT THE CAMERA FOR MOST OF THE TRIP!!

To Start my little Peanut is a very energetic Yorkie. Right now she is into playing with her stuffed bear that I have sewn back together several times. She loves her raw hide bones, playing fetch, staring out the front window and barking at everyone who walks by, playing with her cousin mi'shka, and running around the back yard!

We also have a turtle named Squirt! He is not as fun as Peanut but we also enjoy him. He enjoys swimming and poking his head out of his tank, and most importantly eating goldfish!

Well im new to this new blogging thing!! This is just another way for us to keep in touch with family and friends! I have had several requests to start a blog but unfortunately we dont have a lot of time with our busy schedules so I will try my best to keep it updated!
To be honest I didnt see the point in why I should have blog. All of our friends that do just talk about their kids and since we dont have any children yet you get to hear about my Peanut!!!!
